Just curious to see what others pay.  TIA!

Hey girl!! Does this mean that there might be a little one on the way for you???! :)

We paid $285 for 3 day part time in the infant room and $275 now in the toddler room. We pay a bit more than other places but we have a rotating need (not the same day every week) so most part time places don't offer that option. It is also a Montessori school.

  • It depends on whether you're going with a chain, whether it's on the MO or KS side, and the individual center.  Kindercare was a little over $300/wk; LaPetite a little more; Creative World a little less. Tour lots of places - we went to 12 different centers and there were only 2 I would put DD in.  Good luck!

Hey!  Not yet, but we are ttc soon.  Just trying to make sure we have things all set before we do. Good to see you!

  • We pay $150/week for an infant at an in-home daycare in Olathe.  We pay $155/week for a 4yo at the YMCA.  They are both there full time.
  • We pay $150 a week for full time in-home daycare and the only thing we provide is diapers... this is in the Liberty area.
  • I have my daughter in a center and I pay $460 per month for f/t daycare in the infant room. I believe it goes down slightly after 1 year old.

  • This is really helpful, thanks for asking this question!!!

Do any of you know of a good/reasonable place for daycare in the Parkville area?

We weren't prepared to pay for daycare as my mom was going to watch the LO for us full time. Her health has been really bad lately and I'm afraid she's not going to be able to handle watching him, no matter how determined she is.
