I was just looking to see what different fruits and veggies the bump compares fetal size to as the baby develops. Week 37-delivery is a WATERMELON!
Plus I am not sure how one week baby is as big as a cantaloupe and the next week a banana?

I don't know.. I like the comparisons It's nice to have the visual image in mind.
Survived major c-section complications which led to massive blood transfusion, hysterectomy, BSO and pulmonary embolism. Very thankful to be alive to raise my kids!
I stopped using the fruit ticker when I was eating blueberries and the ticker said "Baby is the size of a blueberry!" How could I get excited when I was eating my child?! (In my mind, of course)

This week your baby is going through a period of rapid growth. Trust that you will read that in any pregnancy book week after week. Don't worry, it continues on through the "1st year" books! It always cracked DH and I up!

LOL- well I understand why they make the comparisons they do (length not circumference, etc) but I don't think I find the image of carrying around a watermelon very exciting! I am 35 and late to having kids and one reason is because I have always been terrified of delivery, so that's probably part of my aversion to it!

Re: I don't think I like the Bump's fruit comparison chart
The cantaloupe to banana one pisses me off. I know they're probably going on length and all, but really?
