Hi-
Is/has anyone done their own cupcake toppers? I have someone designing them and sending me the file, along with DD's invites but am sending those to VistaPrint. I bought the 2" scalloped punch and some cardstock at Michael's yesterday to practice with.
Here's the problem - how is the world do you punch these suckers out correctly? I think I may have gotten myself in WAY over my head on trying to these myself. Can anyone give me a step by step tutorial? Advice, tips?
TIA!!
Re: Help with cupcake toppers!
I made some, and they were easy to make, but I used a couple of different tools. I did get a lot of help from this blog: https://lindsaychristensendesign.com/blog/2009/10/27/diy-how-to-make-cupcake-toppers/
ETA: I also made mine from scratch. You can see pics in my blog (in siggie) under Birdie Baby Sprinkle.
That is absolutely adorable! I was going to attempt making the pom poms, but have decided to buy them off Etsy. I fear that my non-crafty ways will show..haha!
Thanks so much Jesse*sGirl! OH, looooove your cupcake display!
