Nutramigen Spit-Up ?

We switched from Good Start to Nutramigen last week and have been on all Nutramigen since Thursday (mixed for several days before that). However since increasing the amount of Nutramigen LO gets her spit-ups and poops have changed. Her poop changed from green to yellow (not worrisome) and have increased from one large diaper every 36 hours to 3 HUGE diapers every day (again not too worried since it is her usual consistency by it's alot more poop so maybe she's not digesting the Nutramigen as much as the Good Start?).

Her spit-up has gone from consistent new formula look and smell (Good Start) to a strange two layer spit-up on Nutramigen. One layer is very thick gooey formula looking (and smells of vomit to me) and the other layer looks like pure water and doesn't smell. It's not congestion because I have seen that and it is slimey. This watery stuff is not slimey in the least. I'm pretty sure it's not the saline drops because if it was, I would have been out of saline days ago. The longer she goes after a bottle the more watery layer there is until that smelly formula goo is coming up anymore. This watery layer also spews out without warning and soaks her clothes (atleast 1/2 ounce at a time).

Is this normal spit-up for Nutramigen? I left a message with our GI nurse but haven't heard back yet.

DS has that some consistency of spit up ever since he has been on Nutramigen. I think that it is totally normal!

DS has had the same kind of Spit up since he's been on Nutramigen so I believe it's totally normal. Nothing to worry about

Good to know! It's a bit freaky to see the different layers.I wonder why it happens...
