Diaper Rec - Leaking Through at Night?

The girls never had this problem, but DS keeps leaking through his diaper at night.  DH jokingly told me that I would just have to always change him in the middle of the night, but he will be STTN soon and there's no way I'm waking him just to change him.  I've tried the Costco (Kirkland) size 1/2 and the Pampers Swaddlers size 2.  He leaks through less often with the Pampers.  He's only 13 lbs and the size 3s (usually start at 16 lbs) of Kirklands are swimming on him - to the point where it'd just run out the leg holes.  I didn't actually try an overnight with it since it was so ridiculous on him.  Any other ideas?  What brand of diapers do you use on your boys?  I'm tucking his little penis down, but he still only seems to fill up the front of the diaper and not the back.  Any other suggestions/recommendations?  Thanks!

Same thing happened with DS. I tried every brand - Pampers, Kirkland, Target, Huggies. I'd still have to change him twice at night. He's in size 2 too and he's 14lbs. I decided to try the Huggies overnight diapers. The smallest size they come in is 3 (16lbs), but I tried them anyway. They're a little big, but I've had no issues since. I just make them as tight as I can and they work very well!

I have wonderful luck with target brand after leaking through pampers and huggies.

We use the Pamper's Swaddlers with drymax, and change him immediately before he goes to sleep. He's never leaked overnight.

We use pampers and huggies- they are about the same for him. I highly recommend making sure all the ruffles on the sides are pulled out and that you put the tabs tight. My LO has my DH's "nohiny" and his poo just leaks right out the back unless it is tight enough. I am sure you already do these things, but it took me a little while to catch on to some things!

We had this problem at well...DD is only 12 1/2 lbs but she was leaking through her pampers size 2...i ended up putting her in size 3's overnight and it works like a charm! HTH!

We use the Pampers Baby Dry and love them.  I think they even say something on the package about lasting 12 hours.  For us they seem to hold tons more.  There was one night that he leaked, but one night in the past 4 weeks of STTN is ok with me.     He's just over 15lbs and is in the size 2's.

Pampers baby dry. They work great, they are made to hold for 12 hours. I use them at night because her regular pampers leaked. They are in a green package.

Definitely try the Huggies Overnites.  I discovered them when my 2 1/2yo was about 9-10mo and loved them.  My almost 4 month old has been in the size 3s since he was around 13lbs.
