Feeling better about my mom skills

One of our neighbors has 5-month old twins and needed us to watch them for a few hours since they had an emergency and needed to go to the hospital.

My neighbor is doing fine, and DH and I did well with the kids. We were able to diaper, feed, play, and get all 3 of them to nap. The rest of the day seemed easier taking care of just 1.  Big Smile

I am in awe of all moms of multiples or moms with toddlers and newborns.

Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

  • That's awesome!  I am reminded of how good I am at 1 when I have my two nieces (3 and 1) as well as my 2.5 year old.  I am amazed and in awe of moms of multiples and lots of kiddos do it.
  • Good work!

I often think about the couple who had quintuplets (here in Houston) right around when I had my son. I read their blog and always tell myself if they can do it with six--they have an older son too--I can handle my little one!

  • I know.  My neighbor is pregnant (30 wks) with TRIPLET GIRLS!  Looking at their nursery just makes me catch my breath because I cannot imagine how life will be for them with three baby girls.  OMG.
