I'm up to 60 oz/day...I'm sure it should be more but I've gotta work up to that. I'd much rather have a lot of green/black tea or anything else really!! I don't want to use the crystal light packets b/c of the artificial sweeteners, and I'm limiting my caffeine intake. I do occasionally throw a lime or lemon slice in there, but it only does so much!

I'd guess around a gallon or even more. My ob said that I need at least a gallon/day, so I've been trying to drink a little more than that (thanks to the heat stroke I had a few weeks ago).

For some reason, I just cannot manage to drink enough water - or fluid, for that matter. I think it's contributing to my dizziness and headaches. And of course, it's not good for the baby. I put my husband to the task of making sure that I drink at least 3 20 oz bottles a day, but since he's almost always at work, I'm left to fend for myself most of the day. I wish I could get better at this. It's sad when something's so easy to do and yet so hard.

I would give it some time.. I used to drink gallons of water pre-pregnancy, all of a sudden half a glass made me gag.. am now back to tolerating, in fact almost liking water again.. But doesnt look like the pre-pregnancy obsession with water will ever come back..so maybe 3 glasses a day max..
Normally I drink alot but this week I have felt really bad and been throwing up quite a bit. Water is starting to make me feel sloshy if that makes sense to anyone.

A gallon!? How are you not peeing every 3 minutes?! I have been drinking a little over 48 oz a day and I seriously feel like I spend half of my day in the ladies room.
after my dehydration-induced dizziness and fatigue episode the other day, I am trying to have a gallon a day (128 oz). And I don't ever have caffeine (just don't like the drinks with it...it's not that I have great willpower). If I only had 60, I would have that problem again for sure. It can depend on where you live. But if you're feeling tired or lightheaded ever, DEFINITELY drink more!
I try to drink 100 oz. a day. That's a lot, but I run (when I can manage these days ), so I need the extra hydration, and I got in the habit of drinking that much when I was training for a marathon last fall and just never stopped.
Water needs vary from person to person, but at least 64 oz. is the rule of thumb. As long as you're feeling well and your pee is light yellow, you should be good.
I try to drink water all the time, but I don't think I get enough. Any suggestions on how to keep track of the water I drink and get more in?
A suggestion for you, and for other ladies having trouble taking in enough water:
You know those 8 oz bottles of water they have for kids? You should be drinking one every hour. Buy them.
You should drink six to eight 8-ounce glasses per day (48 to 64 fluid ounces) plus one 8-ounce glass for each hour of light activity. This is the minimum recommended amount of fluid intake.

72 oz plus a cup of hot decaf tea.
Plain water is making me feel sick though, so I just found this new productfrom Crystal Light "Pure Fitness." It's the little packets you dump in individual bottles and it doesn't have any artificial sweeteners, so I'm trying that out today. So far so good! It's also only 15 calories a serving.
i'm terrible with water, even before pregnancy. my OB told me between 64-80 oz a day, and i'm lucky if i get half that in water. i've been trying to drink other things (gatorade, watered down juice) to try to keep the fluid levels up so i don't get dehydrated but it's hard.
i already feel sick 24/7, so adding a full sloshy belly doesn't help!
One thing I used to do when I was working out hard core was set the alarm on my phone for every hour. It reminded me to put down the mouse and pick up some water.
If I drank a gallon a day I would need to move into the bathroom. We have terrible well water at my house, so we drink Spring Water in 16oz bottles, I try to have at least 5 a day (yes I recycle them since I know I am consuming a ridiculous amount of plastic) so thats about 80oz, but I know there are days where I only drink 4. I don't think I can make it a day without 4 though. I also have a glass of juice in the AM, along with a cup of decaf coffee or tea, and maybe one Sierra Mist or ginger ale during the day. I had given up soda for months before BFP, but have been seriously craving them now that I'm KU.

I saw a commercial for this the other day and was wondering how it tastes. I was staying away from CL because of the artificial sweeteners. Plain water is getting to be a daily struggle for me. I think I'll try the CL Pure Fitness and see how that works.
I know I'm probably not drinking enough water most days, but I keep trying to add more each day. Especially now that we are hitting the summer season, can't be getting too dehydrated.

I'm not keeping an exact measurement of how much I'm drinking, but other than my 1 cup of coffee in the morning I'm 100% water. I do give in occasionally to sweet tea or a pepsi throwback, but H2O is all day, every day.

So many women have to go to the hospital for dehydration. I'm trying to avoid being one of those women.

Enough to drown a fish.
I've had 60oz so far today. It's noon. I'll probably have another 60 before heading home.

Water is pretty much the only thing I drink. No idea how much of it I drink, but I drink it pretty much throughout the day.
