Hi girls, since there was no progress this morning, the midwife came by and stripped my membranes. It was fairly uncomfortable, but not very painful. She said she could "easily" strip me, and that I was 2 cm dilated. She hoped for some progress within the next 24hrs. However, as stripping is just "irritating" the membranes without any meds no one can really tell for sure whether it will work.

I have another stripping appointment for next Thursday if nothing happens. Hopefully I won't need that :-)

I already told Ashley (my labor buddy), but I'll let you know here as well. Please do not post anything labor related on FaceBook. There are some people I want to keep informed on a personal level, and would hate for them to find stuff out through FB-messages, I hope you girls understand :-)

Well, its been 1,5hrs and still nothing, so DH and I are going for a short walk this afternoon (and maybe get some ice cream while we're at it)
