all terrain stroller?

What all terrain stroller do you recommend?  I don't really run, but I do 'power walk' on dirt and uneven sidewalks.

I've been looking at 3 wheel joggers (bob, bumbleride, baby jogger, phil and teds), and some 4 wheel strollers uppababy vista and baby jogger select (are these all terrain?)

Re: all terrain stroller?

  • The Bugaboo Frog and Cameleon are both all terrain.  I have the Frog, love it!!  I take it on dirt trails at our park all the time and it rides like a dream over all the bumps and what not.

  • I've heard great things about the Bumbleride. I ended up with the Baby Jogger City Mini, but if we end up needing an all terrain... the Bumbleride is what we're going for.

The Uppababy Vista and BJ City Select aren't all terrain because they have smaller, non inflated front wheels. Both great strollers though. I prefer the City Select because of the lifetime warranty on the frame, easier fold, hand brake, magnetic closures on the canopy viewing windows, and better seating options (more space for the babies too!).

  • I vote for Phil and Teds it's all terrain and you can add a doubles kit later!

  • We LOVE our Bumbleride...it's an AMAZING stroller.  Just ordered the double for the arrival of baby number 2!!!
  • Love my Chariot Cougar.
  • We're probably going with the Baby Jogger Summit XC. It's a terrain, has a foot and hand break, 16" wheels in back and a 12" wheel in front, and has shocks.

  • I want to do the Uppa... I'm in love with it! Easy to fold, comes with a bassinet, a huge basket and some suspension/shocks. I think it'll be a smooth ride for the kid :-)
