need help finding a photographer

My sister is due with her first out in Eugene, OR the end of June. Since I can't be there to photograph her newborn, I'd love to give her the gift of a session. Recommendations? Thoughts? Google doesn't seem to be helping any.

I know how to take a picture, but I'm no photographer. Sorry. I wish I were more help.

I don't know any photographers in Eugene, but there are several in Portland that are good that might be willing to drive down. Or you could try Salem. One person I know in Salem is Rebecca Rodriguez (just search for Rebecca Rodriguez Photography). She is amazing! I'm sure she'd be willing to drive down or if she's not available she might be able to recommend someone who lives closer by.

 I'm not a pro and am just doing my first newborn shoot for a friend in July so I don't feel comfortable shooting a newborn session for a stranger. I'd hate for them to not turn out as the baby is only a newborn for a very short time . Make sure when your sister books someone that the baby is less than 2 weeks old. That's when you get the best sleepy pictures. But I'm sure you are aware of that.

One of my BFFs is a photographer (not professional, but still wonderful), she does all of my family pics, and has done about 4 of my friend's maternity and baby pics, and she's great.  You will see me, my DH, and my DD all over her website...

Just to add a name to the list...it's a husband/wife team and they did my wedding, birth (yup, she was in the room!) and family photo's yearly.  They are taking a break from weddings and focusing on maternity/newborn and family.They do location shoots so I know they would travel to Eugene.
