I need to make some friends...

I recently have re-connected with some old friends from high school, but I'm feeling pretty disconnected from them, I'm 22 about to be 23 and everyone my age is spontaneous... they want to know if I'm free "this evening" or in a couple of hours... ummm, no.

I have a set schedule, up at 4:45am, drop DD off at 7, get to work before 8. Leave work at 5, pick up DD by 6 (sometimes later if I need to run an errand) but always home for bath at 7, DD is in bed by 8, and then I eat and go to bed by 9 (10 on laundry nights). Saturday is DD day and Sunday is cleaning. They don't really get it, "just get a babysitter" they say. I need to make some mom friends.

I'm 20. My friends all tell me to "get a sitter" or "ask my parents." Yeah, no. Doesn't quite work that way. She's not a dog, she's a baby. Such a pain! I know what you mean about getting some mom friends. Too bad you don't live near by. Hah!

I need some mommy friends too! Im the only one out of any of my friends that has a baby. Im lucky most of the time when they want to go out they beg me to bring along the baby, and when I dont they get upset. But im sure once she gets a bit older they wont want her to tag along. But I wouldnt mind having some play dates with other moms and would like to have some stuff in common with them.

I need to make friends too..I lost all mine when I married STTBXH. Now he has a new girlfriend and we are divorcing and I am alone with DS...where do you all live? Playdate?

Haha... I SO feel your pain.  Most of my friends are either still single and "playing" or already have grown kids.  They simply do not understand that I need some kind of notice before I can go out...lol.
