Cramps freak me out!

I know most cramps are normal if you have no bleeding, but they still scare me to death! My cramps have been coming and going.  Please tell me this is normal?  I've miscarried twice and I think that's why I am freaking out so much.  I've left a message for my doctor, but it's killing me to wait for her to call me back.

I just need reassurance!!!

I've been getting a wide range of cramps from dull to sharp and some that are so intense they make me nauseous at their peak but no bleeding. Everything I've read says it's perfectly normal from all the stretching and pulling and moving that's going on in your pelvic region.

  • I had the worst menstrual-like cramps at first. I kept waiting for a period, they were really bad.

Now, I am 11 weeks and they have chilled out a bit, but they definitely have graduated to more of a dull, sharp cramp if I move too fast or sneeze or something. I read on babycenter that last week my uterus went from the size of a pear to the size of a grapefruit so keep that in mind as all this cramping is going on!

  • I have had these on and off as well.  After doing a lot of reading I'm feeling better about them because it sounds like they are pretty common.  I noticed them when I ran up my stairs a little fast.  Felt like I had done a bunch of sit ups...then went to a dull cramp that was pretty low.  It freaked me out but again...I think its normal so dont freak out too much.  Maybe just talk to your doctor.
