I am Stacie. DD, Katie, is 2.5 and this is my fave age! She's getting very into Sunday school (she told me about the 'siples *disciples* last week!)so I am excited to be home with her this summer and do some bible lessons/crafts with her.

I've never seen this group before either.  I'm so excited!  My name is Jessica and I'm a mom to two girls (Isabel, 3 and Claire 8 months).  Stacie...DD #1 is totally into Sunday School too, and she calls diciples the same thing as your daughter (too cute)!  She actually sang her 1st song in church 2 weeks ago..and didn't freak being up in front of church (such a proud momma moment for me)!  I love the bible passage Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you."  As far as a prayer request...my dad and sister are graduating from college this weekend and like everyone else they have fallen on tough economic times.  Please pray that they find jobs in this tough market right now.  I'm excited to get to know all of the Christian moms on this board!

My name is Melissa.  My husband, Craig, and I have been married for 4 years.  We have been blessed with 2  daughters (Abby is 2.5, Norah is 6 months).  I am a speech pathologist, but right now I am a stay-at-home mom and teach piano lessons.  I love it!

My favorite bible verse is: "The Lord your God is with you; He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing."  Zephaniah 3:17

The Sunday school stories are so cute!  Our church doesn't start Sunday school until age 3, so Abby will start in the fall, and she's SO excited.  Our Pastor does a children's sermon every other week in church which she goes up for, and she absolutely loves "helping Pastor."  She loves church, period! 

I pray that you all have a wonderful week, and I'm so excited to see some new Mommies on here!  Come back every week!

Good Morning Ladies!

My name is Jessica.  My husband, Kyle and I have been married for 6 1/2 years.  We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, Paige Elizabeth.  We are trying (for a year now) for #2 but nothing yet.  All in God's time!  And if it isn't in God's will for us to have another baby then we are blessed that He intrusted us with one of His children.

 Paige is still in the nursery at church as Sunday School and Children's worship does not start till age 3.  But she loves church, loves her church friends and loves to pray. 

 I am in a new 20 something Sunday School class at church where we are encouraged to learn a new scripture verse a week.  I am loving it!  For the last several years (probably 10) I was teaching the preschool Sunday School class - so it is nice to be with adults learning God's word!

 A couple verses I have learned that have helped me : Psalm 37:24 Though I stumble I will never fall, for the Lord holds my by the hand!  (How comforting to know that the Lord holds me by the hand even when I fail and He will not let me fall!)

Also Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weeknesses but we have one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet was without sin.  Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.  (also a comforting verse to the know that the Lord went through the same trials and temptations that we face! and that there is mercy and grace when I need it and ask for it!)

ok so now that I have more than just a minute I'll say a bit more about myself. Dh and I will be celebrating our 7th annv. later this month.  God has looked after our family through three difficult pregnancies (one ended in a m/c at 10 wks) and we were blessed that even though both our boys were preemies we had no major complications and short NICU stays.

I wish R would love SS that much he always complains that he doesn't want to go. He wants to go to mommy and daddy's church so he comes in with us but after a few minutes he's bored and won't behave so he goes to his class. 

My favorite verse is Phil 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

As for prayer requests my mom was recently diagnosed w/ skin cancer. So please pray for her.

I am Amy, DH is David, and my DS is Ben.  We've been married almost 7 years and Ben is almost 3.  We went through a lot of infertility problems and 2miscarriages and a failed adoption before we adopted Ben.  We got the call about him and drove 12 hours to the hospital to take him home.  God is so Good.  I go to a Baptist church and have been in church all my life thanks to wonderful parents.  I'm also a kindergarten teacher and I love it.

Hi ladies. I am Kathy.  My hubby and I have been married 5 years this summer.  We have a 2 year old DS, Ethan.  He's such a smart, funny and loveable kid.  He goes to Sunday School and nursery and loves it. He loves to read his Moses flip book (which he used to call his "Santa" book because it has Moses in a white beard on the front). 

I am a 1st grade teacher.  I am ready for the school year to be over so I can spend time at home with DS.  We will probably start trying for DC#2 in the next few months.

One of my favorite verses:  Psalm 46:10 - Be Still and know that I am God.  Keep this in mind alot when I worry about things.
