This is a weekly check-in for those of us who beat IF and got pregnant, but sadly has suffered a loss.  It is hard enough to face infertility.  But adding in the fear of mc/pregnancy loss makes our journeys all the more stressful. QOTD:  I guess adoption is my plan B.  Although at this point it feels like plan A2.  I think when I am actually able to cycle again we'll be pursuing adoption at that same time.

QOTD: Adoption. I don't know at what point plan B comes into play though. I often wonder what my breaking point is after I have already been through so much.

 Update: On prometrium now to bring on AF. Then we will be on to FET #2 With the RPL testing they found 2 clotting disorders (see siggy) and I am hoping this will solve our issues.

Update: met with RE and then with MFM who saw us at the hospital. RE is confident we can get pg using same protocol (injects +ti, despite 4-5 previously failed IUIs), he's making me wait 2 more weeks since I've still had some postpartum bleeding, and said my cervix was still a bit tender. MFM said we dealt with preterm labor, and the "cervical incompetence" I was dx with was more like a touch of cervical weakness, not the main cause. Reason for pre term labor has been ruled inconclusive, but gave me plenty of "maybes" and set a plan for our next pg. QOTD: plan B, I know we need one,but never really thought about it. We haven't done IVF since we're oop, just 4 years of pills and injects, so IVF may be our plan B, after that I don't know..

I am sorry for what you have been through, and certainly know the pain and fear of loss(es).  I hope this question is not out of line, and if it is, disregard and accept my apologies.

I haven't found a check-in group like this yet that fits my facts - I miraculously didn't have IF before my losses, but only since. I had 2 m/c in 2008 and now have unexplained infertility and am going through my second IUI.

I absolutely understand if this is not the right criteria for your group, but thought I would ask.

mlmtgg-I think you are mor than welcome to post. It's not more about having a IF diagnosis as it is more of ttc after having a loss & trying again.

QOTD: I would like adoption is plan B. I have thought of DE but being OOP, it's more reasonable to go towards adoption. I have not done IVF yet & DH is not for it at this time due to being OOP. RE is hopefully that it will happen without IVF.

I have been on a 2 mo break & AF is gearing up for this weekend sometime. Teasing with this spotting! Will do clomid with bravelle & TI. IUI doesn't give us a higher % of success due to no MFI.

I'm pregnant and going in for my first ultrasound on Tuesday.  I'm so nervous that I'm not sure if it's making me feel like I'm going to throw up or if that is morning sickness.

Having secondary infertility, my plan B is to get myself comfortable with the idea of our family not growing any more, at least with biological children.  We have started looking into adoption through foster care and may pursue that in the future.

We're pg again too and having our 3rd u/s this coming wednesday. So far so good but we're super nervous. We're taking this a week at a time and praying the 3rd time's the charm. We go every 2wks for check ups and doppler or u/s.

Our plan B...once we've exhausted our "natural" options is adoption. I've always wanted to regardless of whether or not I had my own bio kids.

Hi ladies, I'm new to the check-in.  We started with IVF and it worked on the 1st try.  After seeing a heartbeat with the RE at 8w, I went to a different doctor at 10w and the ultrasound showed the baby measuring 8w and no heartbeat.  My initial betas were very low (5 and 26 at 7dp5dt and 9dp5dt) but otherwise there was no indication that anything was wrong.  My EDD was 11/11/10.  The consensus between OB/GYN and RE seems to be that it was probably just not a viable pregnancy and that we should take a few months off and try again when we are ready.

 Plan B... We are really just starting down the IF treatments road.  Even though it has been a long time, with the trying and the testing and the surgery, we've actually only done one cycle of treatment.  We have 8 frembryos--plan A was always to do a cycle of IVF and if it didn't work, do FET with any remaining embryos.  That's probably 3 more attempts. 

We haven't really decided on a plan B.  We have some options: 1) Get me on DH's insurance plan, which covers one IVF cycle.  My insurance covers no IF treatments--we were OOP for this IVF.  2) Look into enrolling in an out-of-state shared risk IVF program (no one in Hawaii has a money-back guarantee program).

Adoption is still plan C for us at  this point.  DH and I have always wanted to adopt, but we want to have bio kids too.

Whew! That was long!  Thanks for reading and I'm hoping for sticky babies for all of us soon!
