Has anyone returned opened recalled medicine?

I have 3 things of Tylenol and 2 of Benadryl. I can't find anything online stating what the policy is - just wondering what others have done.

What I read last night asked you to fill out a form then select whether you wanted a product refund or a coupon for a replacement product. I'll find the link for you if you'd like.

I filled out the info online. Make sure you change the product coupon to refund if thats what you want. I almost did not notice the put it on product coupon not refund.

I've heard, anecdotally, that you can return open, non-expired bottles to CVS and Stop & Shop for a store credit equal to the amount of purchase. I'm going to try it, since I will no longer be using name brand OTC meds.
