Copley Square question?

We're heading to Boston tomorrow for a family photo shoot and we're having pictures done at Copley Square...is there a grassy area there (or nearby) to have a picnic lunch?

    I can't think of much grass around there other than walking to the public gardens... which would be a great spot for a picnic (just a few blocks down the road)

    There is a great grassy park area right in Copley Sq.  It's between Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library on Boylston.  It's a perfect place for a picnic.  Enjoy!
