QOTW: NBR- We will go on a vacation in August to go back and visit friends and family in Seattle.

QOTW: BR- I've poked around on Amazon, but won't really start looking at baby stuff until I'm out of first tri.

NBR: I'm taking a week of vacation in July around our anniversary, but I plan to do nothing but relax. And clean out the spare bedroom for the baby. We do have a family reunion to go to that week, but only for a day. And we've got to figure out something to do for our anniversary but other than that.... relaxation here I come! 

BR: We've looked... but don't plan on buying much until much much later. I'm getting some money from my grandma (nothing substantial, but just a little) that would be enough to buy the big things if we don't get them from family, so that's nice. But again, not buying until much much later.

We're going to PR with H's family (reunion) over July 4th week. Also think H is going to tag along on my work trip to San Diego at the end of August.

No, not looking for anything yet. I'll be waiting for some time for that.

QOTW NBR- We weren't planning on going anywhere, but have recently decided to go and visit my grandmother over Memorial Day weekend.  We haven't seen her since Thanksgiving, and with her ovarian cancer coming back recently, we really want to visit with her (she lives 9 hrs away).

QOTW BR-  Yes.   I actually started collecting things here and there (on clearance, second-hand) when I went off bcp, so our spare room (nursery) has a stash going.  I'm actually glad that I did this for several reasons. The things we have were mostly bought before our loss, so there is no association there, and now I can focus on picking up cloth diapers here and there.:)

Hi ladies! I am doing well. So excited that I'm further in this pregnancy than ever before. I just hope this baby still has a heartbeat when we go in May for the 3rd ultrasound.

As for a vacation - probably.... don't know where or what yet. We try to go to Wisconsin for a family reunion every year with my side of the family. 

 Baby items - well, I work at a baby store so I have my items all picked out. I haven't bought anything yet, though!

QOTW: NBR ?  Are you vacationing this Spring/Summer? I am leaving on Wednesday to go to Ireland & Lithuania for 2.5 weeks. My brother is getting married on Saturday (My EDD ) in Lithuania and then I wil be going to visit family in Northern and Southern Ireland. Should be ok, although I am barfing 2-3 times a night, so I kinda wish the trip was later in the year. Oh well, at least I'll be busy on my edd

QOTW: BR ?  Have you started looking at any baby items yet? Nope. I had to go shopping for a friend this weekend, but I refuse to buy anything until well into my second tri.

QOTW: Yes this summer - going to Finland to visit in-laws. We'll see how that flight is with a 20 month old:)

QOTW: Not really - we have so much of the basics that we won't need much of anything if it's a boy and probably mostly clothing if it's a girl.

Holy cow I cannot believe I am no longer at the bottom of the list.  It seems like the weeks are passing so slowly, but I guess they aren't

NBR-I bet we'll go back and forth to Wisconsin quite a bit for weekends, but I don't think we'll take any long trips.  We went to Mexico at the beginning of the year and that I think was our big trip for a bit.

BR-Heck no! I am starting to look into cloth diapers, just reading.  We won't be able to be calm enough to buy anything until after my 16 week appt.  I really need to get some clothes, but I'm too nervous so I'm recycling like the same 5 work outfits.

NBR: We are going to Nashville, TN on May 9 and to Dallas, TX on June 6.

BR: Not yet. I've been focusing on getting clothes for myself that fit!!

NBR: We're moving back HOME (Nashville) on May 17, so that's our big trip.  Because of my H taking the bar exam at the end of July, we probably won't do much traveling this summer, except maybe to Ohio for a friend's wedding in June.

BR: My H bought a onesie from his law school, but that's the only BR purchase so far.  I have been online-window shopping/daydreaming, though!

This is my last 1st tri check-in!  Crazy!

QOTW: NBR ?  Originally we were going to go on this very wilderness hiking/camping trip this summer but that will have to be for another time.  Just some trips to the Upper Pennisula.

QOTW: BR: Just my baby bag since I can use it at work for a laptop bag, other than that I may linger as I pass the baby section at Target but I'm still completely paranoid about really looking at anything.

Good morning ladies!

NBR:  Yes!  DH and I are going to the Big Island during Memorial Week for 8 days!  Our friends are getting married there so we made it a real vacation/baby moon.  I can not wait.

BR:  Yes.  I look all the time and did even before I got my bfp.  I can't wait to find out if I am having a boy or a girl so I can start shopping!  Plus, we move in two weeks so I will have an empty room just begging to be filled with baby stuff.

Yay for graduation week! So excited to have made it this far and I can't wait for the rest of you lovely ladies to graduate too! nbr: we camp a lot in the summer, so we'll definitely be doing that while we still can. I'm also taking a roadtrip with girlfriends to Montana net week and I can't wait. br: my MIL has gone crazy on baby stuff already, and I've bought fabric for nursery projects, but that's it so far.

QOTW: NBR ?  Are you vacationing this Spring/Summer? We plan to go to Chicago to a White Sox and Cubs game and maybe one more time to Chicago.

QOTW:BR- Have you started looking at any baby items yet? Yes, my mom keeps asking about the crib and such since she plans on purchasing it so I decided to start looking. It is overwhelming though! Likely won't buy it for about 4-6 more weeks since by then we should know what we are having.

QOTW: NBR- We are probably going to go somewhere this summer. DH has 3 weeks of vacation that expire at the end of this year. He can't take more than one week at a time so he is taking one this summer, one when the baby comes, and the other we haven't decided.

QOTW: BR- I have browsed in the store but definitely nothing in stone or serious yet. Too early for that.

No to both questions. We are planning a one-night getaway the night of our wedding, but it's not really considered a vacation. Or even a honeymoon.

And I have not looked at baby stuff seriously. I've walked through the baby aisles, but just to see what there is. I haven't actually looked for what I will really want for baby.

NBR: Sadly, we're not really going anywhere this spring/summer. Ever since I found out that the university where I work doesn't really have any kind of a maternity leave policy we decided to save instead. We really don't want to dip into our savings! That being said I do think we'll do an overnight in Milwaukee for our anniversary in May!

BR: Yes, I've been looking! I've been obsessed with planning the nursery. We're going to wait until we find out the gender because we already have a boy and that's really going to dictate what we need.

Yes, It may be a staycation but I gotta take time off from work. I'l end up strangling my rehab clients if I don't...the angels that they are. And maybe go to Kansas City, Mo to visit all billion of my cousins, aunts/uncles, and my grandparents.

I bought 2 Alabama Roll Tide bibs for my FIL...he's seriously awesome and a huge 'Bama fan. And one sleep bra, the girls feel so much better now!
