Baking Soda = Floor Saver

So a week or so ago I let L play with crayons at her table.  She did pretty good about keeping it on the coloring book but still had strays on the table. She decided to color on the paper on her easel and again I was so impressed that she kept it on the paper.  I scrubbed her table with a paper towel and some multi surface cleaner and got some of it up off the table. Then I had this light bulb moment, try some baking soda.  I sprinkled some down and with a wet cloth and some elbow grease it was gone.  

Fast forward to last Friday: I discovered that she did scribble a few lines on the laminate flooring.  I mopped and a tiny bit came off.  Remembering that baking soda worked on the table, I went to the kitchen grabbed it and a wet paper towel and in 30 seconds had no more orange crayon on the floor!
