    Gerber's 1st foods apple puree. I'm not sure if the label says apple, or applesauce.

    I don't understand.  Isn't baby or no-sugar-added applesauce just apples?  You'd have to puree apples to feed it to a baby, so that makes applesauce.  I wouldn't feed applesauce that has sugar or other flavorings added -- anything artificial.
