    I love Josephine but can't get behind the nn Jo or Joey especially since your DD is Sophie- such a pretty, feminine name. What about:

    Sylvia, Juliet, Marion, Corinne, Joceyln, Annette, Elaine, Gabrielle, Leila, Lauren, Gemma, Catherine, Jewel, Greta or Therese?

    Not a fan of Jo and if you like Allie, just do that, no need for a full name and a nick name. I would also recommend Allison since you like Allie.
