Jake and DH went on a scooter ride. Jake LOVED it and keeps asking to go again. The joy on his face when he found out he got to go (after begging for weeks) was priceless.

    Probably safer than my 3yr old riding a gas powered quad by himself, right?!  ;)

    Uh, I was thinking about today if I should make DS wear his skateboard helmet if my "friend" takes him on his 4 wheeler.

     

    Looks like they had fun, but I would feel safer if it was 4 wheels versus 2!

    LOL Jodi- DS has a battery 4wheeler, but the battery dies SO fast...I see a gas powered one (and full face helmet) in his future. He'll love it!

    we take him on the 4wheeler at my parents all the time (like weekly). We don't make him wear a helmet then though, since WE are driving and be safe/semi-slow.  When he gets his own gas-powered 4wheeler, he will have to wear a helmet when he drives.

    and ditto- I am at total ease with 4wheels, the 2wheels had me scared. I sat in the driveway the whole 15min (felt like an hour) waiting for them to come back.

    how fun! my BIL works in a commercial nursery and DS has been a few piece of equipment -- he LOVES it and my BIL is very slow and careful.
