We are trying to decide on a unique little girl's name....but not one that is weird.

Wren Anna or Berkley Anna...any thoughts?

I think of Wren as a boy name. The librarian in my grade school was a guy named Wren. Wren is a girl on the Baby Blues comic strip though. Might be an either-way name.

I actually think Wren is very cute. It's different, but it doesn't make me side eye the way "unique" names often do.

I slightly prefer Berkley over Wren.  I personally don't like how "wren" sounds.  I live about an hour away from Berkeley CA, so it's never a name I would personally choose, but I do like it better than Wren.

I had a friend who named her daughter Lindawren after her MIL-Linda and her Mother-Wren.  I thought it was cute.

There's Robin, there's Raven, why not Wren? I really like nature-inspired names. If you like it, I say go for it! Of course, I'll pretty much always say that because its your life, not mine.

With that being said, Berkley sounds a bit too much like a last name to me and I have a pet peeve about names that sound like two last names.

That's just my 2 cents!

I like Wren, but not with the middle name Anna when you say Wren Anna fast it rhymes with banana.  to many n's for my taste.

Neither is really my style.  But Wren is MUCH better than Berkley.  I hate first names that sound like last names.

nms at all.  I don't like places as names and I instantly thought isn't a wren a type of bird.

I like Wren better than Berkley...but both are NMS.

Berkley has too strong an association with Berkeley, CA.
