The Flood Gates Have Opened...

I put an email into my doc to make sure it's normal but what was your first Post-Partum period like, if you've had one?

The cramps are WAY lighter but the flow is... out of control.

    same, i thought i was going to bleed out for a couple days there. lol. same thing on this second AF.

    This sucks!  Also sucks to hear that the second will be the same. Boo.  How long did it last?  Longer than normal or the same amount of time?

    same amount of time. i got mine on sunday and it's finishing up today. it was really heavy for only like 2 days. but seriously i feel like i should've bought stock in super tampons for how fast i was going through them. lol

    I think your experience is completely normal, but mine was different.  After having DD I didn't get AF until she was a year old - my first one was very light - just spotting really, the second one was heavier. then the next month I got pregnant with DS.  I hope I get another year AF free!

    My cramps were WAY WAY worse, but yes it was a freakin flood! I have always had super light periods with minimal cramps...when this happened I was not happy AT ALL....

    Okay, thank goodness.  This is Day 3 and it hasn't let up yet but I'm sure it will in a day or two.  I'm having to wear pads with my tampons... GROSS.

    That to the tee.. I stopped bleeding from having the baby at 5 weeks... period started at 6 weeks... not fun but I went from being cuddled up in bed crying from cramps to no cramps at all.
