I posted an introduction yesterday. Thursday is our first RE appointment and I was wondering what I should arm myself with as far as questions and what to expect. I am experiencing a good amount of anxiety of this!
Kona, I don't have any advice for you, but wanted to say good luck with your first appt. I hope that you connect with this RE and get some great information and hope for the future.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

Thank you so much. And thank you for being so welcoming! I really appreciate it
I'm sure it will go fine! But, I understand how you feel. I actually threw up the morning of my first RE appointment I was so nervous. I think that's when DH got a hint about what he was in for . . .
I'm pretty sure that your RE will go over the info he has from you and your other doctors and order a bunch of tests. You might want to ask what each test is for and what the implications are for results. That would be about it for the first trip! Good luck!
Good luck on your appointment. The things you talk about in your visit will probably have you thinking up questions when you get home. Just keep a little notebook with you at all times. I would write down anything I thought of for the next consultation. Every time i failed to write it down, i would forget to ask.
Good luck! Are they going over your test results at the same visit? Im thinking they will have treatment suggestions
I am assuming they will. I didn't get to do the FSH and FH CD 2-3 tests or the CD 21 progerstone tests, but everything else was. I even had my OB send my records over from my pregnancy loss. I hope to have some answers and homework on Thursday.
At our first appointment, we really just went over our medical history and discussed potential next steps. We had all of our bloodwork done after meeting with the RE. Good luck!
Re: Questions for RE
Thank you so much. And thank you for being so welcoming! I really appreciate it
Honestly, all REs have an first appointment protocal that they follow. So I wouldn't be too anxious, sure they'll lay it all out.
You may have some questions after things get going, but I don't really think there's much you need be prepared to ask.
GL.
This.
Good luck!!!!
Welcome! and I agree with previous posts...they usually have it all laid out.
GL and keep us posted!!

Thanks again ladies!
Last Friday I went in for labs - about 16 vials worth! So, that is a start!
