Took DD to 'How to Train Your Dragon' today

We both loved it.  I thought it was going to be too scary for her at first, but she didn't have a problem with it.  She wore the 3D glasses the entire time and was glued to the screen.  When it was over, she was mad and said she wanted to watch it again.  I did, too!

I highly recommend it, although maybe not for kids who are scared easily by movies.

  • thanks for the insight. I want to take ds but wasn't sure if he would actually keep the glasses on. I'm sure he'll love it though.
  • I would say a bit scarier than Chicken Little.  There are lots of 3D flames and the dragons are a little bit scary-looking.  The beginning is the scariest part, IMO, because the dragons and Vikings are constantly fighting each other.

Also, I didn't think the plot was as predictable as most animated films.  I thought I knew what was going to happen a couple of times and was wrong.
