1cm dialated, 40% effaced (36 weeks), where are u now?

Last week I was closed, high and no progress. This week I am 1cm dialated and 40% effaced. For those of you who were dilated at your 36 week appointments where are you now? I am hoping this means I will continue to progress in the coming weeks.....

i was 2cm and 50% effaced im now 3 cm and 70% effaced i go in tomorrow to get checked again im hoping for some progress if not lil one will be here by 4/13

Last week I was a "finger tip" dialated & 65% effaced. I go back tomorrow and hope to see some progress! Dr. said my cervix was really soft and he could feel the babys head but I wasn't quite 1cm yet.

35 weeks - 1cm 50%, 36 weeks, 1cm 75%, 37 weeks - 3cm 80%

But everyone is different.

I've been 1cm and 50% effaced since 37 weeks ... and I'm still here.

I am just a couple days away from 36 weeks, but don't plan on getting checked at all. Anyone else not plan on getting checked? To my knowledge, there aren't many benefits and from what I've heard it can be quite uncomfortable.

I was at my 36 week appointment, and only progressed to 1 cm and 65% effaced at 39 week appointment.

It does NOT mean you will continue to progress! Dont get your hopes up!

@36wks I was 2cm @37wks I was @3cm. I have an appt tomorrow and I'm hoping to be @8cm!

I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced at 36 weeks.  At 38 (almost 39 weeks), I'm still there...

36 weeks and nothing yet!  I hope she's here before my dd (4/26)

At 35 weeks I was 3cm dilated and 90% effaced and then this past week at my 37 week appointment I was told I am 4cm and 100% effaced. I am still here and now patiently waiting!
