LOVE pinot. ANd Shiraz. I just don't drink as often now because I grew so accustomed to not drinking at all after 3 years of TTC and pregnancies. Getting back in slowly though!
I bleed red wine. I miss it so much, especially my pinot and cab. We've really saved a lot of money by me not drinking wine the past 9 months and we've actually been able to stock up on the good cellar stuff too. DH has a bottle of my favorite Cakebread cab ready to go for when I can drink it.
DH and I are huge wine fans! We went to Sonoma for our honeymoon, LOL. Kira has been to $@* wine tastings already in her short life. We have some wonderful wineries around us here, and we even know the wineries by you out on Long Island.
I'm being good now while TTC, but otherwise, DH and I drink it all the time!

My Blog
I have a glass of wine with dinner most nights (after the babies go to bed). But not usually pinot noir. I'm more of a malbec kind of girl. Tempranillo and garnacha, too.
Our babies have been to our awesome big liquor store (Spec's) a few times already. Without fail, an employee sees them and says, "Oh, their first trip to Spec's?" and we have to say, "No, they've been here before...."

Cal had, too, up until a couple of months ago when we showed up to one and were turned away b/c there's a new law that children under 18 aren't allowed at tastings! So, we took turns and went in separately!

Same for me. I love wine with dinner, but I'm still not back in the habit after TTC, IVF, pregnancy and now BFing, But I love a good cabernet.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!

Come neighbors! Come all! Bar's open!
(but it's bittersweet because I'm dieting hardcore and sips are few and far between. Then of course, I'll be getting knocked up real nice shortly, and all. )
Um, so yes. I guess that leaves you with the torch. Barback has already expressed fondness for Kim Chee. You want him in a few weeks???????????????????????????????

Wino here. I miss it so much. I have had some sips here and there (gasp!) and DH is always talking about what an alky I am. He's kind of a tee-totaler. So annoying. I say, whatever, pass the wine, more for me!

Definitely not. I'd be drinking right now if it wasn't frowned upon at work.
My girlfriend and I are taking Friday off to "enjoy the nice weather with the babies and find someplace good to drink margaritas outside"
Um, DH and I make wine. We fell in with a group of amateur vintners, and this weekend we bottle. Wed should end up with around 15 cases total.
So, no - you're not alone
