ugh - beating myself up

Lucy will NOT go to sleep in her crib.  We have tried putting her down awake, rocking her to sleep, swaddle, no swaddle.  I am not ready to sleep train per se but the past three nights we have tried a modified pick up/put down (on the advice of our pedi) and I just keep feeling like a huge failure.  She SCREAMS, I pick her up, soothe her, put her back down, she SCREAMS... rinse and repeat.  She gets so exhausted and I feel so so bad for her.  She is sleeping in her swing right now and I am feeling like the worst mommy ever for not being able to get her some good, decent sleep.  Poor baby

Oh we've had nights/weeks/MONTHS like that. It gets better. I PROMISE!!! Even if you try nothing it will get better. Just take it one night at a time.
