I am a cook, a housekeeper, a parent, a teacher, a referee, a nanny, a nurse, a handy man, a maid, security, and a comforter. I don't get holiday, sick pay, or a day off, I work through the day and some of the night, I am under paid and over worked now tell me that YOUR job is harder then mine. Repost this if you're a MOM and loving it!!!!!!!!!

I would take this over slowly and painfully bleeding, but I guess that is a pretty easy "job" in comparison to parenthood.

    I know my sister has this as her's I just don't think people realize how much  and how many people they are hurting..I have been trying all day to think of a status update to make people realize they should thinkbefore they speak

    Yeah that's the same one companion cube posted (the "leave it to FB" thread) so I guess it's making it's way around everyone's FB. :-( That one ticks me off so badly. I can't stand it when women think that because they had a child that they deserve an award for taking care of said child. Lame.

    There's a rash of that going around lately.  Apparently sitting around on your tanookus making patronizing fb messages about motherhood is also one of the jobs a lot of mothers have.

    As an aside, I love that you quote Paul Simon in your siggy.  Beautiful song.
