Where to buy Red Raspberry Leaf Tea?

Does Whole Foods carry it?

Any other natural induction methods work for you guys?  I am taking EP oil too.

  • I found mine at Wegmans.

  • I have several friends who swear by pineapple. And it is delicious right now :-)

  • I've never bought it, but I bet Whole Foods has it.  I was able to get Fenugeek there.  Maybe call ahead and ask to speak to someone in the homeopathic department.

  • Whole Foods has it in with their regular teas.  At least the one in Clarendon does.

that's where I bought mine too

I drank 3 cups 3 days after my due date and had DD the next day but it could've been a coincidence since she was overdue

  • glad to know the whole foods in clarendon has it! i'll be picking some up tomorrow to help with a lovely pregnancy symptom i've redeveloped! go me!

asolare - have you tried the famous eggplant parmesan recipe from scalini's?  it didn't work for me, but i made it for three friends and all of them went into labor (at various points 39, 40 and 41 weeks) within 24 hours of eating it! https://www.scalinis.com/Bambino.htm

i also found rolling in wide circles on my birthing ball helped to move the baby down some, which likely got labor started (if you do it right, it hurts a little and you might have some spotting b/c the baby is gently pushed into your cervix).

when you reach your EDD, as a last resort you could try castor oil, but i hear it's gross and causes digestive cramps (but that's precisely why it's used for natural induction)

  • I really think walking is what did it for me, but who knows. I just know I walked a ton on Saturday and then a really brisk 2 miles on Sunday afternoon  (4 days before my due date) and was admitted to the hospital that evening. But, I know other people walk forever and nothing happens! Good Luck!

  • I tried the Red Raspberry Leaf tea, didn't work. I walked until I thought I couldn't walk anymore. What I think really worked was the stress. My daughter was a week and a half late. My family as well as my hubby's family all flew up for my induction, which had to be re-scheduled since so many other women were in labor. I really think the stress of both families waiting for to do something and my hubby being pissed that the hospital wouldn't let us come in pushed me into labor.

Ditto.  The only thing that worked for me was prayer!  I used the raspberry leaf tea, walked a LOT, squats, bouncing on a yoga ball, sex, nipple stimulation, eating spicy food, driving on bumpy road... and I ended up going to 41 weeks.  I ended up having an induction scheduled and midwife stripped my membranes the day before and fortunately DS came on his own the next day!  GL!!
