We aren't having two under two, but they'll be really close (2 and 3 months), so I was hoping for some input. We are chosing between the Uppa Baby Vista with Rumble Seat or the Phil and Teds Sport.
Which would you choose, and why?
IMO the pros are:
Vista: Can easily use the infant carseat with toddler in jump seat, comes with a bassinet, kids can face either direction.
Phil and Teds: Will be better off paved paths (for our park adventures)
Cons:
Vista: Not as good off paved roads
Phil and Teds: Not supposed to use the infant carseat while toddler is in back (though people do this anyway).
Re: Stroller Choice Help!
I don't think you can go wrong with those two choices. I would choose whichever one seems more suitable to your lifestyle as the P&T is a bit more active and the UppaBaby a bit more refined.
We have a P&T and absolutely love it! I used it as a double the other day for my toddler (28 lbs) and her friend (40 lbs) and was amazed how easy it was to push around that much weight. Kaylin loved being in the jumpseat down below
I was debating between the P & T Sport and BJ City Select, we selected the Phil and Ted's and here is why:
We also wanted an all terrain stroller, we beach it alot in the summer and pushing on the sand is a must.
I have heard the convenience of the carseat adapter is not that important second time around, we love the bassinet feature of the P & T and I will most liekly wear baby # 2 most of the time. I still have my snap n go if I really want to use that feature and let DD walk or carry her.
P & T is more afforable and seems more compact than the BJ. Also looked at the Uppa but have not heard good things about the rumble seat.
Lastly, I have not heard of one person who was not happy with their P & T's purchase, in fact everyone that has one raves about it. HTH!
