Is it normal to have redness and a burning pain (sort of like a bee sting) around the area of an HCG injection? I gave myself a shot in the abdomen at 8pm last night and it hurts to move or bend in that area. This is my first trigger shot and I'm not sure what is normal.
Should I call the Dr?

The redness was spreading so I just called the nurse at my RE. She said that I probably had a reaction to the preservatives mixed with the HCG. But, it should go away in a day or two and I just need to keep an eye on it. I feel better!
