Humphreys Teething Tablests

Sorry- I searched but found no posts on this...

Has anyone every used Humphrey's teething tablets? Anyone used any kind of decongestant with a 6 month old? I KNOw your are not supposed to but my son has had a stuffed up nose for 17 days now and we both would like to sleep again. We are fighting RSV (lungs are clear now but the nose just won't clear up), teething, and projectile vomiting (doc says due to the nose draining). HELP!!!!!

no decongestants are available for babes, but you may ask your pedi if you can rub Vicks vaporrub on the chest, also run a humidifier, and take LO in the bathroom with you when you shower to get the steam, it helps loosen the mucus. And then you can use saline nose sprays throughout the day and suction.

As for the Humphreys is that the Humphrey's 3?? I have heard that it works wonders but never tried it personally.

They make vicks vaporrub for babies 3 months and up.

idk about the teething tablets but for the sinuses we use little noses medicated drops. pedi said use a few times per day...couple drops in each nostril then use a bulb to suck the snot out. it cleared up DD's sinuses within a day or two.

You could try putting a little bit of baby rub on the bottoms of LO's feet. Have you been using a humidifier & the boogie sucker? That worked wonders for us. GL!

Yes, very weird OWT here but I've heard from patients that swear by it. You put Vicks all over the bottom of the feet and then sleep with socks. I've heard it more so for chest congestion than sinus issues but who knows. I've never done it personally but like I said I know people that swear by it ha!

DS was prescribed a decongestant called Vazobid.  He didn't have RSV, but he was constantly congested when he was a little younger (and the past few weeks, it's caused him to vomit.)  He's completely better now after only taking it once a day (they said twice, but it made him super drowsy, so he wanted to sleep all day and all night.)

IDK about the congestion part, but I've tried the Humphrey's and the Hylands  Teething tablets, and I like the Hylands more because they dissolve much quicker, and I feel safer giving them to DS. They both seem to really relieve his symptoms for about 3 hours. Sometimes he falls right to sleep after he gets them.
