Dumb Dumb Dumb Question

Okay, so I'm 23 weeks roughly...

How many months does that equal out to?

Some people at work say four, others say five, others say almost 6...how do you figure it out?

Call me dumb...flame away, I don't care.

5.3 months

edit: 52 wks per year divided by 12 months=4.333 weeks per month.
23 wks divided by 4.333=5.3 months

edit again: cam thanks for that link! I guess I always just divide by the approximate number of weeks per month like I figure out payroll taxes and stuff at work, but it looks like i'm wrong as far as pregnancy goes? Thanks!

I'd say 23 divided by 4 is roughly 6, but I see what you are saying because not all months have 4 weeks. Go with 6:)

As PP said.. I'd just say almost 6 months.. I say I'm in my seventh month now I'd always just say I'm in my X month if I didnt go by weeks or they didnt know what the weeks added to..

I believe that technically, you are 5 months along, entering your 6th month. Technically you would have entered the 22nd week.

I asked the same question a while back. I was 18 weeks, which according the books I was reading was the beginning of the 5th month. It was explained to me that I was 4 months along, entering my 5th month.
