Went in on CD 14 for US & 2nd IUI on March 5th & was told I only had a few small follicles on the left & right ovary. They cancelled the IUI & said I wasn't responding to the Clomid & we should think about moving on. So we decided to start injectables w/IUI this next cycle & I have my appt tomorrow to learn how to do the injections.
Today is CD 24 & this morning I woke up with a sharp, stabbing, bend-ya-over type pain which felt all too familiar like ovulation pain. It lasted for over 4 hours. I had some discomfort yesterday also but nothing like this morning. Out of curiousity, when I got home from work I took a FR OPK test & there it was - a frickin' smiley face! WTF? Are you kidding me?
I am SO confused! What the hell is going on with my body? Did I respond late to the Clomid? Did I not respond to the Clomid & am going to ovulate on my own? Do I call my RE & try to set up IUI tomorrow? Or do I say "F" it & not do anything at all & start w/injectables next cycle? What to do...
Regardless, DH & I are going to get busy this evening just incase by some miracle it works with TI. The thing that really sucks is I was excited to get AF next week so we can move on to the next cycle & now the whole dreaded 2ww starts over.
Ugh - I hate IF
Anybody else experience this scenario?
