DD is16 months old and is wanting to potty train. We bought a potty in the hopes of her getting used to the idea. She has been using the potty on and off for 4 months. I have not pushed the potty training because she is still young. DD has recently started taking off her diaper and taking me to the bathroom so she can use her potty.
I am having a very hard time find training underwear or pants in 18 months size. I am not want to use pull ups or something like that because I think it defeats the purpose of getting rid of the diaper. Any recommendations on what I should get for her?

I had the same problem with DD...I found some XS ones at Old Navy that were pretty tiny once they were washed/dried...even those were a little loose on her though. Some of the 2T undies fit her just fine (she was about 18 mos) and others were a bit big on her.
Ditto this. Both my guys were in underwear during non-sleep time by 20 months. I just went with some 2T's that were not too big. I bought a couple of different kinds figuring the ones that were too big would get grown into and used eventually so it wasn't a waste and then when I figured out which brands ran smaller I went back and got more of those.
And... 2T plastic pants worked just fine because they're designed to be snug around the legs and waist and any ballooning doesn't really matter.

Yaay! Congrats!
I got a lot of stuff here:

Pricey, but great quality- still like new and DD's been using them off and on for awhile. I do recommend going a little larger than her size, though, to enable her to get down and pull up when she's coordinated enough to do so(my 2 yr old is JUST getting there!). Good luck!
