Can you ovulate 3 weeks after D&C?

I haven't had AF yet since my D&C almost 3 weeks ago but yesterday and today I've noticed some slight twinges in the left side where I normally have O pain. I was very tuned into these signals when we were TTC before but I can't imagine that's what it is. I should note that I had my betas done on Friday and they said I was at 64 so I guess if I was down to zero it could be possible, but it's weird. My doctor suggested we wait to TTC until 2 cycles so it's not like I'm going to go jump in bed with DH or anything, I was just curious, since this is my first m/c.

Yes. I ovulated 3 weeks EXACTLY after my d&c (unknown to me) and had sex once only 5 days prior (not TTC) and low and behold, I am 10 weeks pregnant now.  I am terrified, but obviously it can happen. I definitely wasn't expecting it either.

Totally possible.  I know several people who have gotten pregnant in the month following their miscarriage.

I didn't have a D&C, but I ovulated three weeks after my natural m/c, and my AF just started this past Sunday.

I was told that you become fertile again 2-3 weeks after the D&C so this sounds more than possible.  I don't know anything about betas so I can't offer any clarification on that.

It is very possible! Most people get AF 4 or 5 wks after a D&C so 3 wks for O is a pretty good guess!! My Dr did not reccommend waiting very long to begin TTC again.  He said as long as I was emotionally ready, to go ahead and start trying... I had my D&C 1/27/10 had fup appt 2/25 and he gave me the go ahead then even tho i had NOT yet seen AF.  So we did, and  i still have no AF... who knows.
