maternity jeans recs..

Last time I lived in my liz lange jeans from target but I've shopped at 2 targets (poor me I know =P) and their maternity section is dwindling!!!

Any recs for good places to go? Unfortunately old navy does not fit me well....

Re: maternity jeans recs..

  • I lived in my motherhood jeans.  I also picked up a few maternity pants that fit very well from JcPenny.  Good luck!

  • I got my maternity jeans from Gap and liked them up until about the 6th month or so (for some reason, none of the gap maternity pants really fit me well in the thrid tri and I've tried going up/down sizes, different bands...just my shape I guess).

I really love my maternity pants from Japanese Weekend (pricier I know). I've never tried their jeans though.

  • I got mine from Kohl's. They fit pretty nicely and are comfy.
  • I LOVE Motherhood Maternity pants with the special belly cover thing.  The fabric is soft and flexible.  I've tried a couple other stores and the belly cover is always so rough and tight on my belly.  But MM has these special pants/capris/etc that have the belly cover that's great!  Didn't check your profile for your location but Great Mall in Milpitas has the MM outlet where I bought all my pants.

  • I don't know if you have a Burlington Coat Factory or one of their outlet stores near you but that's where I found mine (back when I was pg).

  • Motherhood were good, I got a pair as a hand me down, and loved them. I also had a pair of Buffalo jeans from Pea in the Pod, which were about $100 I think. So pricey but awesome!

  • I loved my super sexy *insert sarcasm* Motherhood jeans with the waist band that went all the way up to my boobs. I wore them far longer than I should have...like up until a few weeks ago. So dang comfy.
  • I wish I had a decent recommendation.  I hate all my maternity jeans:  Old Navy (don't stay up - and too short for me), Gap (don't stay up no matter if I go bigger/smaller), Motherhood (I tried on EVERY pair of jeans in the store - - - walked around in them - - - sat in them - -- and picked the ones that stayed up the best, only to have them fall down consistently the very next day), Target (fall down and pull my undies with it), Penneys and Kohls (again - fall down and stretch out).

Yeah - I have a lot of jeans - some from my first pregnancy and some from this one.  I have all different kinds of bands - including the ones that Motherhood SWORE wouldn't fall down.  They all suck.  But it's better than wearing my favorite yoga pants from ON every day.

Good luck - I'm sure it's just my hips otherwise there would be  a war waged on teh maternity jeans companies!!!

Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

  • I loved my Motherhood jeans.  I lived in those or their cargo pants.  I have some babystyle jeans that were too long for me.  Would you like to try them?  Just let me know :)
  • mine were from the gap and they were awesome. I still wear them, actually :-)

  • i noticed the target at serramonte has a BIG maternity section. Maybe head over there??

also - ive worn Mavi jeans that I got on clearance last pg and this one & LOVE them. Got them at Mimi Maternity in burlingame.

  • I am probably no help because I only wore Paige Premium Denim Maternity jeans....my bum and hips are way too small for all the reasonably priced ones.  I tried all of gap's old navy, motherhood, even ordered some from various websites before returning them because they sucked.  So for me it was worth it to spend some moola to get jeans I felt good in and was happy with.  Good resale value on them too, I just sold one of the pairs...I am keeping the second pair JIC. ;)
