Hello ladies.
I'm new to these boards and hope to meet some new friends. I'm 37 and we've been TTC#1 for 8 months. After 6 months without success, we saw an RE and have the following results:
DH - 31 - SA reveals everything's great except morphology - high WBC's and he's completed his antibiotics
Me - FSH 6, progesterone 9, HSG was clear but revealed uterine polyps. Had a lap and D/C which found stage 1 endo (very mild) and pathology showed abnormal cells from uterus. Am currently on Megase to thin my uterine lining and will biopsy in 2 months.
RE wants to proceed directly to IUI after my biopsy to counter my advancing age after a 3 month wait. Does anyone have any experience with any of these situations? I feel so alone - I'm thankful that this has given me a chance to prevent future cancer, but I'm so ready to be a mom.
Any advice or words of wisdom are appreciated.
Re: New Member - intro
Welcome and I hope your stay here is short! You will find this board a great resource.
I don't have experience with your situation, but I am sure you can find someone on here that can help. GL
Your SN makes me giggle. Is there a back story?
Welcome! I hope your stay is short!
Welcome!
Hi and welcome
I know IF can make you feel alone - like you are the only one going through it. I am so glad you found us. This is a great place for support.
GL with everything!
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Welcome and good luck.
I am also AMA (Advanced Maternal Age) - I am 38. Given our Dx, we went straight to IVF, so I have no advice on IUI or Endo, but wish you a short stay here.
Just that I love lizards (and snakes and turtles) and I love to knit. I couldn't really come up with a good user name, and I'd like some anonymity just in case people I may know IRL are on these boards.
Glad I could make you laugh...
