I am at work at the office today (office is South of downtown and we live way North) AND I FORGOT a part of my pump! F!

I just had to try to do it manually and it was awful... now I have to drive half an hour home and back over lunch.

I was supposed to have lunch with a coworker for her b-day today... this is my one day "away" all week and I really kind of look forward to some me time. GRRR!

This had better not affect my supply. I only got 1.5 oz manually and usually pump about 4. Damnit!

Oh no! That is the worst! What kind of pump do you have? Maybe someone who lives nearby has some spare parts they could loan you.

that does suck!  but one missed pumping session shouldn't screw with your supply.  You just might be a bit engorged for the next feeding.

Thanks for the commiseration, guys. It ended up not being THAT horrible. I definitely "lost" some oz. that I would have been able to pump, but I rushed home at lunch.

It was more the aggravation of having to spend an hour just driving to go back home for it than anything... and my missed special "free" Friday lunch. Boo.

I pumped a ton, though, when I finally did it... so yay.

I will never leave the house without checking thoroughly again!
