Rocking Chairs?

So the DH and I are looking for a rocking chair for the nursery. He definitely doesn't want a glider because the motion makes him feel sick. They seem to be at all they have at Babies R Us and Target baby.

We've looked at getting the Dorel Rocker from Walmart but obviously haven't been able to try and see how comfortable and such it is. Anyone bought this or can you recommend your rocking chair?

That's really cute.  I would think about whether you are going to need a higher back for a headrest, though.  Before I picked mine out, a couple of gals here suggested that I go with one with a high back - because in the middle of the night, I will want to lay my head against something.

I've had a this rocking chair and I will say that due to its size it doesn't rock easily on carpet.

This is just an idea, but whenever I go to the antique malls around here I see tons of awesome looking rocking chairs for dirt cheap.  You could buy one & either leave it wood...or repaint it and just buy a super pretty cushion.  If we weren't doing a modern nursery I would totally go that route.

This is the rocker we plan on getting. Havent been able to try it but Walmart is up the street I will just return it if I dont like it.
