tips for medicine?

Um, anyone have any tips for actually getting Mady to take her amoxicillian?  Because I got a raspberry full of amox this morning.  Not fun.

    I always squirt the medicine in and then give DS the paci to help him suck and swallow it.

    Monk likes to spit his out too. The best thing I can do is hold him in a semi-reclined position. Then I squirt a little in to the side of his cheek. Then I shove a paci in his mouth so he can't spit it out. Repeat until all gone.

    Have you tried putting it in her bottle?  This works like a charm for my LO.

    put a tiny bit in her cheek and hold her cheeks like a fish face (does that make sense?) until she swallows.  the do a little bit more while holding her cheeks like that.  might take a bit of time but it will work.  good luck!

    I feel pretty good today :)  Mady is doing much better.  I just laid her down for a nap, hopefully she'll keep sleeping well and will be 100% soon!

    I lay A on the changing table put it way back in her cheek. Sometimes it helps to blow in their face. DD#1 fell for that, but A doesn't.

    thanks for all the suggestions ladies!!  We have 15 more doses to go (gaaaah) so hopefully we'll figure something out!!
