Newbie looking for OBGYN

Hi All

My hubs and I live in the Akron area, we just now officially became a TTC couple. I am looking for a new OBGYN in the area or one that is worth a bit of a drive.

I go to Paragon off white pond in akron, LOVE IT...I actually go to a midwife, Alice Gordon, the doctors there are also great.

I have been happy with OBGYN Associates of Akron.  It is an all female practice and unless something crazy happens the doc you see during your pregnancy is the one that delivers you.  Some practices it is whoever is on call.

I see Dr. Barry Fish and Dr. Jennifer Savitsky near Summit Mall (west side of Akron) and both are great. Dr. Savitsky delivered my son.

I second Paragon. Whether you plan on delivering at Summa or AGMC they have 2 groups that go to each. I go to the AGMC group and I have met every Doc and like them all.  Im due in 2 weeks so I have been seeing a great deal of them too!

I'm also a patient at Paragon in Akron on White Pond. I just had a baby in November and they were wonderful! When you start going for your visits and you're there so often everyone gets to know you and the girls at the desk even are so sweet all the time. You can request a specific doctor to see all the time or meet with all of them it's not a coin toss.

I also go to obgyn associates of akron...it's on cleveland massillon in copley/bath, but they also have an office near akron city hospital. All female group of 5 doctors. I was seeing Dr. Cousineau who was very sweet, but due to scheduling conflicts and other needs I switched to Dr. O'Shea whom is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend her.

Ditto Paragon... and another benefit is that you can see them for regular gyno care after delivery. They've been awesome every step of the way, and let's just say that I've been through a lot over the past year.

I also go to Paragon, and they have a lot of offices in the Akron area including Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, Green, and Akron - White Pond.  I like them a lot!

I love the docs at Women's Health Group in Tallmadge.  I had to get a new OB right when I got pregnant due to insurance reasons.

I go to Paragon in Green and I love it! I actually see a midwife there (she also delivered my son!) and they're great! They're so down to earth and real with you about things. I would highly reccomend them! Good luck with your search and if you have any questions feel free to PM me!
