BUT she is getting too big for it, and they don't make swaddle blankets any bigger (at least, I can't find them). I've tried the sleep sack, and she hates having her arms free, however, and this is odd - when she wakes up in the morning, her arms are out of the swaddle blanket. I think she likes to fall asleep feeling snug and secure, but wants to wiggle out of it later. I don't know what to do.
Re: Help/Advice: 5 mo old DD still wants to be swaddled
Why not just use a receiving blanket? That's what they're for.
Some of them are too tiny (crappy gerber ones run small just like their clothes!) But the Koala ones from BRU work well - they are rectangular so you don't have to turn the blanket at an angle, just lay the baby down on one end of the blanket, put the blanket snuggly over her and put the other end under her as tight as you can.
This is good to hear - I thought we HAD to break DD of it by now. I didn't think it was okay to keep swaddling her.

Have you looked at something like the woombie? They have a 'big baby' and a 'mega baby' size.
