DH and I met online. We talked a lot online and then started talking on the phone for a while. We had so much fun talking to each other that we decided to meet. I had just moved from MD to MA so I didn't know anyone. He lived an hour away. DH came to see me so we could finally meet and I was realllllly nervous. I was so nervous, in fact, that I barely talked and poor DH thought I didn't really like him. But I did.
We ended up kissing that night and I asked him to come back the next day to spend Halloween (2006) with me and he said yes. That night he asked me to be his girlfriend (in a super cute kind of way) and I happily said yes. We spent tons of time going back and forth to see each other. We had so much fun together, I never wanted to go home!
By April he proposed to me and we moved in together. We had a long engagement and were married last May. It was the happiest day of my life! We found out in September that we are expecting baby #1. We just moved into our first house this past month. I can't imagine my life without him!
I had just moved from CA to MN for a job. About a month after I moved to MN I was riding my motorcycle to a photoshoot I had booked that day. It was with a photographer I'd always wanted to work with and had a possibility of getting a couple more modeling jobs by working with him. Well being new to the state I ended up getting extremely lost, pulled over and stopped at a Starbucks, where future DH was walking out of. He was riding the same motorcycle I was (a 99' honda cbr 600) in black (mine was red). I was going to go in and ask for directions but before I did I smiled and said 'Kind of a chick bike don't you think' or something to that effect. I ended up missing the photoshoot and we've been 'riding off into the sunset' ever since .
Originally @ church... but didn't really know each other... my church youth group had around 150+ kids in it.. and he's 3 years younger so we hung out in different circles.
As young adults we reconnected @ my BIL's 30th birthday party... we went on one or 2 dates but nothing came of it. We still thought highly of each other though...
Then in March of last year, I joined Facebook and he was added to my friend's list. We started chatting... he's in the Army and at the time was stationed in Korea.
He came back to the states a couple weeks later for good... we visited each other twice... and were married in JUNE! ... 3 months later we found out we were expecting... and this LO is also due in June.
We know God brought us together... and we are so thankful! He is my very best friend.
