I had the great idea to let Will stay up later last night, thinking maybe, just maybe he would sleep in this morning.  Right.  I totally knew how this was going to end up.  So I wasn't shocked when he was wide awake at 6am.

It's H's morning to sleep in.  I told Will he could wake daddeh up when the clock on the oven says "9 O O."  Now he's standing by the oven and every time it changes he asks me, "what it say now mommeh?  what it say now?"  Nevermind that the kid knows his own numbers.  

Oh look, it just changed again.

I am right there with you!  It is my dh's sleep in day.  Good luck until he wakes up.  Maybe you could sit him outside the bedroom door with a clock in hand so he can be dh's alarm clock! My dd is famous for going in our room around 9 when dh is sleeping in because she gets impatient waiting for him....and I don't always stop her.  oops!

I had Noah out late last night at a dinner party.  By the time we got home and to bed it was nearly 11, which never happens.  He slept until 7:10.  He is normally up at 7.  A whole whopping 10 minutes.  I was up anyway with MJ, but I have a feeling it is going to be a LONG day.  Thankfully it will be up to the hubs to deal with, as I am working!

I hear ya!  This day isn't starting out well.  Klaire was basically screaming from 3:45am-5am due to molars!  Then I got another hour of sleep.  I'm so tired.

Never!  And what is it with kids?  It's like they didn't get the memo: you stay up later, you sleep in later!  That's how it works dammit!
