Do you think she looks like my dad? re: my 5 yr old half sister...
The first pic is my 19 yr old half sister, Amber, and my dad. The second is Amber and the 5 yr old that is evidently my half sister as well.
I'm not sure what I think.....

LOL! Yeah, I don't see my dad ever getting a DNA test. He doesn't want to have to pay child support. He already owes $36,000 in BACK pay for me. We'll never see it. And by we, I mean my mom.

I dont really see any striking resemblances between the 5 yo and your sister OR your dad, to be honest. But, that really doesnt mean squat.
How/Why was the 5 yo and her mom even at your dad's wedding? That in itself seems very strange.
I dont know, if the mom thinks it's your dad's child, she obviously doesnt care enough to prove it. Or it HAS been proved and your dad is still playing his "Not mine!" card, which probably wouldnt be too surprising based on what you've posted about him. Is he paying child support?
uhmmmmm.... child support is NOT for your mom. Duh. And the 5 year old should know who her dad is, if she's attending his wedding especially. Someone should have the balls to get a courtordered DNA test for the good of the kids.
Uh...its not really his choice whether he takes a DNA test or pays child support. That's what a court order is for. And as for the child support (or lack thereof), if he has a job his wages can be garnished.
Oh, snap.

For those of you discussing the child support thing.... The child support he still owes for me is most definitely for my mom at this stage of the game. I'm 29 years old, grown and she paid for all my needs for me while I was growing up, ALONE. She deserves anything she gets now.
Also, as far as garnishing his wages, it's all been done before. He lets them get two checks and quits his job. By the time he gets a new one, it takes the system a while to catch up, he lets them garnish two checks, quits and the cycle continues. He's a computer guy so he also works out of his house for cash a lot. Fun stuff... multiple reasons why I don't have any contact with him.

I think her eyes look a lot like your 1/2 sisters. She is very cute.
One of my friends just found out over Christmas she has a 40 year old 1/2 brother who was given up for adoption (her dad didn't know either). Her dad is a big hippie and has a 4 year old too and lives in a remote village in Costa Rica. He is very disappointed because both of his older kids are college professors. My friend is a Math prof at a top 20 universtity, and her 1/2 brother is a science professor at Harvard.
