Nautilus vs Frontier?

I have the Britax Diplomat now and DD is reaching the weight limit. We are going out tomorrow and getting a new car seat for her tomorrow.  I really like the Britax, I am just not sure it is worth the extra hundred dollars.  Anyone have any experience with these two car seats?  Thanks!

We have a Boulevard and I love Britax, but I LOVE the Nautilus!  DD1 also loves it.  It's really easy to get her into, she loves the cup holder and the side 'pocket' things (under the armrests) and it's an easy install.

Someone had a really good reason for not getting the Britax, but I've had 3 glasses of wine and I can't remember what it is right now.

I used to really love Britax--for a long time, they were the seat with the highest weight/height limits. For convertibles, I think you can do better now. But when looking at the nautilus vs. frontier, I think the Britax is worth the extra money, but only if the money is not a huge problem. The nautilus is a fine seat--we have two for DS in the grandparent cars. The reason I didn't buy the frontier is because the top harness slot is the same, and I knew it would be outgrown early by my big boy. The frontier DOES make a better booster in some cases (and is the tallest on the market) than the nautilus, but not always.

The frontier can be abitch to install, compared to the nautilus. That's an issue for some people, and not for others. It depends on how often it's moved.

Thanks ladies!  I am very much leaning towards the Nautilus now.  I think we will head to Babies R Us and check them out tomorrow.

We found the nautilus the cheapest at Walmart.

Also, did you know that Babies R Us now takes Bed Bath & Beyond coupons to compete with BuyBuyBABY?  At least in my area they do... it's worth a call to yours to find out if you can get 20% off.

I just bought another Frontier from A Dolce Baby for $220 including the shipping.  You can use coupon code CARSEAT for free shipping and 20% off.  I already have one of my guys in a Frontier and I've never had a problem installing it.  They way you tighten the straps is different to the other Britax seats I've used, but not difficult if you read the instructions.  My kids are big so I think we'll be able to use this seat longer.
