Dipping my toes in the water here...

2 under 2.... it's hard. I manage but I am JUST getting by. My house is a disaster. I have NO down time. The laundry is ridiculous.... My toddler is finally sleeping again but not without a fight. Once he goes down she starts with her reflux/colic issues...

I've come to the sad but inevitable realization (almost 1 year AFTER his affair ) that my marriage is done. So....how could I possibly leave and do this without any help at night? I'm also going back to work soon.I'll be working M-F evenings. How the heck will I find childcare?!?!

freaking. out.

thanks for reading.

  • You'll be fine. A lot of women are going through the same exact thing as you are right now. I'm not going to lie, it WILL BE HARD but I'm sure there is somebody that is willing to watch the kids at night, even if it is the douchebag that cheated on you. {{HUGS}}

  • You can always come here for any support you need! It might be hard especially at first but as a mom you can always find a way to take good care of your children. And like pp said, you don't need to accept less than what you deserve in a man!

  • Good luck girl - you can totally do it
  • It sounds like you are in the same boat I was in.  2 under 2 is hard but you can do it.  If you ever have questions or just need to vent feel free to pm or page me on this board.  My DDs are just under 20 months apart.  I know a few tricks to get through the day.:)  I know you can get through these next few months.

  • it is sad to realize that it's not working out, but like a PP said, never settle.  It's hard with just one child...but two will be even harder, you can do it!!  Can you find another job that might better suit your needs so you can use daycare?  Either way, we're here for you!  I hope it works out for you
