Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Question about Berkely and Jenson (BJ's) diapers

Has anyone ever used them?  How are they?  We're thinking of buying some as daytime diapers.  Do they run big, small, or about the same as pampers?  DS is probably about 14.5-15 lbs and is 4 1/2 months old.  He's getting too big for his size 1 Luvs and plus we're almost out.

Re: Question about Berkely and Jenson (BJ's) diapers

  • I have used them. They are fine but not as soft as Pampers. Also the Pampers I buy are lightly scented so they don't smell like pee as fast as BJ's diapers. DD just outgrew her size 1/2 BJs diapers and she is 20 lbs. We used them all the time, day and night, and never had a problem. I got Pampers this time around cuz I had a coupon but would buy BJ's diapers again.

Thanks, so you would recommend I buy size 1/2 if DS is about 15 ish pounds?

  • I forget what the weight breakdown on the box is. My DD is huge for 4 mo and grows fast so if you have any doubt, I'd buy the next size up when buying in a large quantity. If your LO gains slowly, you're probably OK with 1/2.
